Why dont they put concept cars for sale on the market, and also why dont we have opel in USA?

Concept cars I would say it has to do with public liability not a fully tested vehicle and no complete parts availability and where to get it fixed? As for Opel in the USA there are other manufacturers than also do not sell in the US not ever thing revolves around the US. I am sure they sell just fine in Europe. Why dont they put concept cars for sale on the market, and also why dont we have opel in USA?
In Mexico, we have Opel under the make of Chevrolet: Corsa, Astra, Meriva, Vectra and Zafira, check this cars out, are pretty cool: www.chevrolet.com.mx

I own a Corsa, and it's a pretty good ride

I don't know why Opel aren't sold in USA, maybe americans think that those cars are crapWhy dont they put concept cars for sale on the market, and also why dont we have opel in USA?
Concept cars are also very expensive unless your were bill gates or someone else rich you couldn't afford it anyway. Opel's use to be in the USA but they were not selling they just market them overseas now usually in eastern Europe and 3rd world countries.
I have wondered that myself. I think they are not fully developed and probably mostly just good looking. So, not really functional space and dimension wise.
concept cars are to generate publicity for the auto company and to gauge if there is enough public interest to warrent eventual manufacture in whole (rare) or incorporating design or features for future sales. The Corevette Sting ray of the 60's was developed from the Corvette Manta Concept Car.

As for the Opel; Adam Opal, AG, is wholely owned by GM since the late 1920s. They were sold as a seperate brand in the US until the 1970s. The opal admiral (in europe) was sold in the US as the Cadillac Catera . Currently, the Saturn is a current Opal.
Concept cars do not meet saftey regulations and are not built for sale to the public. We do have Opel in the U.S. the Saturn Aura and upcoming Astra are built off the european Opel platforms; Vectra and Astra
Concept cars are not meant to be sold. They are made to find the real time cons of the car. But unfortunately most concept don't make it to the roads.
I remember we had the Opel Gt when I was a kid here in the United States. I am 57 years old now.
Because they are CONCEPT cars!!! That's what they are. They're ideas that they are toying with, seeing how much interest they gather. You don't mass produce your ideas.

They don't feel Opel would sell worth a crap in the US, that's why it's not here.
