I need help with considering a repossessed car for sale?

What are the ups/downs up a repossessed car?


How is resale? If I try to sell this car later how much does the price get effected if its repossessed? Does it show up on the title that the DMV has that its repossessed or just on a carfax.I need help with considering a repossessed car for sale?
the repoed cars are sold at the auction only and the title shows it was repoed. If your car was repoed but you reinstated it the title work was never done and its difficult to know that it was ever in the process of being repoed.

I work for a car dealer...and you should be cautious buying repo....have someone qualified check it over...won't affect resale value but from experience I can assure you most people know way before we do that they are not gonna pay for the car anymore...so they either neglect all maintnance and repairs or even try to trash it as bad as they can as if they are blaming us or the car because they won't pay their bills....just be careful....sometimes they are all right....maybe 1 out of 5 or 6
Repossessed cars can be jewels or junk like any used car. Some repo cars are practically new with low mileage because the buyer just lost his job and couldn't make payments. Others are junkers that the buyer didn't feel like keeping and fixing.
