Whats with car dealers and their ads(the magazine with local dealers and their cars for sale)?

Why , when looking at an ad for a used car do they say that it has p/steering?. When is the last time a car was made without it. I can understand if it was an old car but I see it on ads for newer cars a lot. Is it just to make a lame car seen nicer by listing something that a car should have anyways? Does that not come standard on cars or what?Whats with car dealers and their ads(the magazine with local dealers and their cars for sale)?
two reasons,

1. the car they are selling doesnt have any other good options so they resort to power steering or stuff that all modern cars have.

2. They use a VIN decode software to come up with a list of options, the VIN decode comes up with a list of standard equipment, but isnt smart enough to realize things like power steering or power locks on a BMW is no big deal. it just spits out what comes up first.Whats with car dealers and their ads(the magazine with local dealers and their cars for sale)?
actually not all cars have power steering as standard equipment. very small/ cheap econo-boxes dont have it.
the same with a/c
